An interview with Mike Noble....

Sadly, Follyfoot doesn't get that much of a mention (only at about 15 minutes in) but this is the guy that drew all our favourite characters for 'Look In' magazine...

What a wonderful find - the artwork is unmistakable!     :D

I loved "Fireball XL5" - both the programme and comic strip.  If memory serves - the same artist drew "The Range Rider".

The interview also clears up something that mystified me at the time    >367<  - what was "Zero X"?

Thank you for posting this!    >41<

Sadly, Mike Noble has died.  A brilliant artist - literally one of the best.

I took that photo in Mike Noble's lounge, at his house in Balcombe in Sussex on one of the two occasions I inferviewed him, and I own that Follyfoot original artwork!

A really sad loss, as he was such a wonderfully talented yet modest man, and very funny. His impersonation of Arthur English had us inn stitches!
