Harewood Castle - New photos

Went on a Harewood Castle tour today. Beautiful weather and a lovely walk to it. I got ridiculously excited to actually be going inside the castle which is out of bounds to the public.

I embarrassed myself by taking along some screen caps and comparing notes. Eventually the others in the group starting taking an interest in what I was doing and I had to explain  :-[ Quite a few remembered Follyfoot so they became interested too!

Once inside it was easy to see where this bit was filmed

I started to get frustrated and disappointed when I couldn't find the next screen shot. It didn't match up with anything on that floor   >38< There was even talk that maybe that scene was filmed in another place.  :(

But then we went down some very dodgy steps to the basement and bingo!  >108<  There was the archway. I was so please I was grinning like a Cheshire cat    >49<  >334<

I see that they have put CCTV camera up probably because it is out of bounds to the public, so no sneeking in to have a crafty look, great pictures Jane.

I always like to see new research into Follyfoot locations like this, it keeps it all alive.  The place is just the same now as over 40 years ago, apart from the security features of course.  Well done :)

 >366< I think they did some clever editing. I always thought Periwinkle was actually in the castle, but now I think they'd have had trouble getting him in.  :D  I reckon he was just grazing outside while Tim ran about inside. Could be wrong though  :)
