New book Stranger at Follyfoot

Just in case anyone asks, someone did last year about The Horses of Follyfoot, the last book in the series Stranger at Follyfoot isn't going to be published this year by the looks of it.  :(

I contacted Anderson press and they said

Thank you for your email. At present, we do not have any plans to publish the last book in the series.

I hope they do at some point.

That's a wrench.  :(  Having published the others in the series you'd think they'd see the entire series through. The very least they could do is publish it as an e-book which costs next to nothing to do.

I was hoping they would publish Cobbler's Dream too but I guess that isn't going to happen anytime soon  :(

They're probably confused about that one. There's so much violence and mistreatment of horses in it they can't categorise it - too nasty for a childrens'/teen book!

True, much more horrid stuff in it than the later books. Maybe in the future someone else will publish it....

For anyone interested I contacted Anderson Press again to see if they are going to publish Stranger at Follyfoot this year but still there are no plans to do so.  :(
