Emmerdale filming at Follyfoot
« on: October 27, 2010, 07:55:23 AM »
 ;)Hello everyone - Barney here!

Did anyone manage to watch Emmerdale last night (Tuesday)?

If you did, you might have seen that Emmerdale - which is a Yorkshire based daily evening drama, that started in 1972, just after Follyfoot (for our overseas members, that perhaps have never seen the programme), was using the Follyfoot location for a tense kidnap scene.

Filming took place inside the top barn, and there were also shots of the outside of the building and the lake.

The drama continues tonight with more inside filming in the Follyfoot barn, and you will be able to catch up on ITV player if you have missed any of the episodes.

When we visited the Follyfoot location in August, one of the fishermen by the lake asked us if we were from Emmerdale, as he had heard that they would be filming some scenes there.

I don't have the link for ITV player at the moment, but will post it as soon as I can.

Best regards - Barney

Thanks Barney, I remember the guy fishing at the lake and him remarking that Emmerdale was filming there. I don't normally watch it but in this case I will!  :)

I was more surprised by the fact they were filming in the barn, wasn't it almost falling down?  ???
