Thinking about the above I really must visit this site before I blow down. What is the best access point?

Hi garryl if you look on the website there is loads of info on how to get to Hollin Hall.

I must put my "jobs worth" hat on here for a moment and say that there is no access to the buildings but you can wander along the public footpath and view Hollin Hall from there 

I hope you'll join us next year at the farm for the 40th celebrations too, and then you can look around the whole area, including inside the barns as we'll have permission from the estate

Like Jane  says, the fan website tells all.

But just a quick guide: park at SE33553 45021 off the A659 and walk along the public bridleway to Hollin Hall.
