Back again
« on: February 18, 2017, 10:09:29 PM »
After a very busy couple of years, life has settled down again & I have the pleasure of returning to this forum. You take time out, in your late 50's and a 'kids show' from the 1970's should have no place in your life. But Follyfoot still doe's and always will. Like a first love, it remains in your heart & head & cannot go away.  >95<

This forum and website is better than any Facebook site/page that you will find.

I will admit I have smeaked onto FB because Jake has been putting posts and photos of Gillian on there >95< but she's lovely and I can't help it   :-[   >334<

I am of course aware of Facebook's existence - but don't understand how it works or what it is for.  I assume it offers something that a forum doesn't...    >367<

And yet again, I've been away for 6 months, but like a first love, I cannot step away. Family & relationships are defined parts of your life, but somehow, Follyfoot stands as part of that level of memory & experience.
I always remember being at a small country show. Traction Engines, Cows, Sheep et all, but wanting to get back to my Aunties house, just off the field where the show was, to watch Follyfoot. Around 1972. Still smell the musty grass that inhabits a marquee, the echoing sounds of the tannoy & the desire to get back to aunties in time to watch Follyfoot.
Links to the past, that follow you through life. Never go's away. Ever.  8) 8)
