very nicely done, especially phil colins 'tearing and breaking' number.  Don't mean to sound morbid but it has been a strange year, so much talent will be missed after 2016 and all too often the praise comes after someone has gone.  What I like about this forum is we show our appreciation now because it is sincere and still relevant to us now. Follyfoot will never be made any better even if they tried, it is brilliant tv.

I actually went into London to the Union Chapel, Islington last Thursday to see Olivia Newton-John in concert (with Amy Sky and Beth Nielsen-Chapman).  Very, very, very good!  Although she didn't sing 'Hopelessly Devoted to You' (that great John Farrar composition from Grease), she did sing 'I Honestly Love You', which got by far the biggest round of applause of the night.

An unforgettable evening.  And I am guessing that there are not too many people who can claim that the last two gigs they went to (albeit more than a year apart!) were Olivia Newton-John and Motley Crue.

Livvy still looks great and her voice is still perfect.

THIS might be interesting.  Although DG doesn't look much like ON-J...

No.

I have to admit that I think Olivia was, in her day, one of the most genuinely beautiful girls/women on the planet.  Her voice was always very honest and sincere - easy to listen to and believe (still is!).  Olivia is reportedly unhappy about this film, but if it sticks to the truth and doesn't try to embellish it, it might be OK.  They must NOT gloss over her UK years and the time she spent (professionally and socially) with Cliff and the Shadows.

I know exactly what you mean >41< Some things are just too nice to spoil. :-[

I never really 'took' to Grease, but I did love her in Xanadu... Cheesey film to say the least, but she, and Gene Kelly carried the whole thing between them... Helped by ELO's music. >95<

Now all I need is a kiss from a couple of her dark haired sister muses, to help me with and inspire my writing and photographic blocks. >103<

The Muses, in Greek mythology, were nine sisters, all daughters of Zeus... That's why there's paintings of nine girls at the start of the clip. >41< Their 'role' was to provide inspiration to humans in such matters as the arts and sciences. That's why we often refer to anyone talented in those areas as being 'Kissed by a Muse'.  >95<
