Goodbye Mr Chips with Peter O'Toole and Gillian Blake can be seen twice this month here in the UK on TCM via Sky channel 317 and Virgin Media channel 419.

The film is around 125 minutes long and Gillian can be seen for all of 5 seconds.

Beats my brother, who was an extra in that film, I think you get to see him for about 3 seconds :)

He was done up as a public school oik in the playground/register calling/assembly shots. It was the only time he ever did anything of the kind.

Hi
I tried to get Gillian added as an uncredited extra to GBC but they didn't accept (guess I need to supply some evidence - we have it now?!)

I caught the end of an episode of Upstairs Downstairs yesterday & saw Elaine Donnelly (wanton Wendy)  ::)  on the credits, apparently she was playing Mabel a rude & lazy kitchen maid! I tried catching up with it on the ITV3 site but they're only showing the episode from September the 25th! Anyone else see it?   ???

One of my favourite films of all time.  It takes me right back to the sixties - and I really love the song!

Yes - I saw the upstairs downstairs episode yesterday.  It was the episode where James Bellamy commits suicide.

To be honest - I missed that the maid was played by Elaine Donnelly completely! Doh!

;D  Never mind Hellie - she probably looked completely different to her Wendy character.   ;)

I looked on the UpDown Website http://www.updown.org.uk/epguide/s5.htm  and yes Elaine Donnelly was Mabel the rude Maid in "Noblesse Oblige".  I've seen that episode umpteen times but it never registered until I was able to see Follyfoot again.  She was not in the episode where James commits suicide. Mary the Maid was played by Pippa Page.
