ITV are currently showing all the James Bond films on Sunday evenings. Last night it was Moonraker.

A great opportunity to see the Colonel's alter ego, Q!

...and that of the Woodman.  I imagine, as “M”, he didn’t wield his axe in quite the same way as during Dora’s “Walk In The Wood”!   >104<

Watching an episode of the police series “Gideon’s Way” from 1964 about horse doping and race fixing. One of the  horses is called “Follyfoot Lad”.  :o  The stables are a lot smarter than you’d expect for a horse with that name!  >104<
Margery Mason (Mrs. Willens) has just turned up in it too....   and Walter Sparrow (Amos Kellet) just made a swift appearance too.

Hi Guys,
Here to report another find on “Talking Pictures TV”.
They’ve been repeating “The Champions” from 1968/9.  In an episode called “The Final Countdown” Basil Henson (Dora’s dad) appears for a short while before being killed off by the baddies sending him over a quarry edge in a white Jag.  I thought the crash looked familiar so I compared the footage and yes, Dora’s dad was killed in the same crash that killed Uncle Joe’s brother at the start of “Uncle Joe”.  :D :D>63<

WELL SPOTTED !   >92<

The repeat of the series finished some months ago in this region.  I only saw a few episodes and unfortunately, missed this one.    >:(

As an aside, it was part way through the re-showing that Stuart Damon (Craig Stirling) passed away.   :(

I’m not sure at all  if it was filmed for The Champions as they tended to film as much as possible in the studios - including some extremely naff green screen stuff.  ;D  ;D
