Just got around to watching this but wrong film sadly, it was the Martin Clunes version from 2002. Still enjoyed it though 

I don't think the 1969 film which Gillian is in comes on that much

I was watching The Liver Birds and Judy's mother (Sheila Fay)  in Someone, Somewhere popped up as Beryl's mother. She died last year according to IMDB.



Also Seth Draper (Jack Woolgar) A Present for Sandy, was in another episode "Grandad" as the Grandad
