I agree. IMO Robin Stewart would have been more suited to the role of "Chip the Wimp" than the main leading man

Not wanting to sound too contraversal, but I would have preferred Chip to Steve. My thinking is that Dora would have soon dumped the wimp and perhaps looked at me instead. Whereas, I've no chance against that Steve character.

And as for Follyfoot without Dora...

I can imagine Sid as Slugger, but then alternative-world Slugger would be a bit different. Sid was always a bit of a lad, a bit naughty, nudge nudge wink wink. Sid would have tried to chat up Miss Patience or Phyllis Weatherby if he played Slugger!
