Video Smilex visit to FF farm
« on: November 18, 2008, 10:17:39 PM »
Well, I finally managed to get 6 minutes of film on the web. It took me a while to find an acceptable codec. Though this one introduced some strange artefacts...

Watching it straight away requires minimal 1Mb/s internet bandwith, click on this link:

<a href="http://www.smilex.nl/mediafiles/films/FF_visit_wm1024.wmv" target="_blank" class="aeva_link bbc_link new_win">http://www.smilex.nl/mediafiles/films/FF_visit_wm1024.wmv</a>

If the film does not play continuously, try downloading to your computer. Visit this page first:

http://www.smilex.nl/weergave_sub.php?uid=film&id=49

Then right-click the link "See the film" and save the target as... on your computer.

Best regards,
Smilex

Hi Smilex - I love your tour of Follyfoot - thank you.  What a lovely touch having Dora and Steve speaking on it - fantastic.   :)
I'm determined to get there myself one day!   8-)

Thank you very much for a beautiful film, Rene. I found it quite emotional especially with music and Steve and Dora's voices...a lovely touch.

It brought back wonderful memories of a special day in June, made all the more special by sharing it with a follyfriend.

best regards
Sue

So much mudd, and so romantic ( lake) indeed!
Hi Smilex, your film is really good, it`s so atmospheric! It`s a good idea to let the viewer walk with your children up to the farm. So the viewer gets the impression, that he walks there himself.
And here are my friends, the bulls, again, this time life and in motion! And there was no fence...Really tough to go there all three of you - but at one point the picture gets a little bit unsharp: were you pushed, perhaps, by a bull, or did you slip in the mudd?
Greetings, Folly3.

do you have Windows Media Player?

it just loaded straightaway onto my WMP [I use version 10 if that is any help - don't like version 11]
