Good for you Rob, I did not know you collect them too  :)
Anne
That's now three I've got, with my paperback copy of "Follyfoot"! I'd like to get all the FF books, but probably just one copy of each - not different covers and editions!

I have a huge collection / accumulation of books and I must admit I do like radio and television tie-ins - I have several books based on the BBC Radio series "The Archers" (which starred Steve Hodson as Martin Lambert the vet). I also like the early "Observers" books and "Ladybird" books (especially the original 1950s and 1960s ones with the paper dust jackets).

Loopy - that's nice of you, but you should check on the Wee Web (www.theweeweb.co.uk) as some are quite rare and valuable. I have a few from my own childhood and occasionally buy others at boot fairs or charity shops. I don't bother with any modern ones or the learning to read ones - I prefer the historical and practical ones and some of the early animal stories. :)

I've got all the ff English editions in every make and model  :-[  When a new one pops up from time to time that I haven't seen before I get all excited   ::)

25p was a bargain Rob for your two ff books Rob  :)

I've got a lot of Ladybird books at my parents house dating from the sixties. I'll have to check them out!

Congrats Rob on 500 posts  >39<

And I do believe this is my 500th post!

So you like The Archers, Rob. I haven't listened to the radio show for a while but use to regularly when Steve was on it. Even have a few audio cassettes of his episodes.  ::)

I found two Follyfoot books in Romsey yesterday.  The Lions Club had a book stall in the market and low and behold there were two FF books together.  'The Horses of Follyfoot' and 'Stranger at Follyfoot'.  It's the ones with the yellow covers with pictures of Dora and Steve on them. They're in good condition too.  The children's books were 40p each or 3 for £1, so I bought a Ladybird book too 'The story of our Canals'.   >5<

How exciting - it's the first FF finds I've had for ages.   >21<

How about this - a 1973 Look-In Annual, in lovely condition, which I got at a boot fair in Hythe yesterday! I couldn't believe my luck!

And it cost me.... 50p !
