Sorry the last photo is I think a shot of the hill where Ron and Slugger were driving down the hill to meet Dora when Steve got his leg caught in the trap and she was waving for them to hurry up in the episode A Family of Strangers.

Excellent Motormouse. I like the discrete way you have framed the hall/barn to see the best of what's left of original. :)

These are picture of the wood where I think they filmed Steve getting his leg caught in the trap.

Motormouse,

As a matter of interest - how were you able to tell?

Pete2013 if you look in Jane Royston’s book Follyfoot Remembered, I hope you have the book, on page 104 it said that they filmed part of that episode in the wood by the second little lake, and as a wood looks the same as any other wood I can’t see why they would not film most of the scene in the same wood, especially as it is only a few hundred yards from Holing Hall, which means you don’t have to go off site to film, but I could be wrong, Jane Royston would know if that wood was used, or someone else on the forum might be able to confirm it.

Pete if you look at the film cap from a Family of Strangers you can see just pass Ron’s back the fence where it goes round the corner to the right of the picture, see my picture Rex 100374ac, the fence has obviously been replaced as the one in the episode was made of wood, and if you look at the episode again you can see where they have taken down the fence for filming as the posts are still standing. Thanks for that Loopy.
