Hi all...
« on: July 24, 2012, 04:55:13 PM »
Hello all, another life long Folly Fan here. I remember the original broadcasts, but now have to rely on the DVD collection to relive the memories :-[

I've spent a large part of my adult life actually rescuing and working with abused/neglected horses at some of the UK's horse rescue charities.... sadly real life was far more harrowing and far less fun than Follyfoot though. Now I've moved away from rescuing horses I have the time and space to have my own, and I am currently 'Dad' to three Welsh Cobs, (one gelding two mares) a Warmblood cross (who's never cross ;)) and a little Dartmoor mare.

We all live in South East England, though my real home is in East Anglia, where I lived just a few miles from Gillian. She lived west of East Dereham, while I lived south of the town, and I remember the regional paper, the Eastern Daily Press running a short article on her many years ago.

Hope to get to know you all better...

Kindest Regards

Colin (MidnightZodiac)

Welcome Colin!  >11<

Fantastic you worked in the horse rescue business.  >39< But as you say must have been harrowing at times.  >47<

Your horses and ponies sound beautiful as Dora would say. Would love to see some pics if you would like to share them with us  :)
