Fanfic purposes - how would Colonel Maddocks address a Brigadier in an informal setting?  (I don't know anything about the Army  so I've assumed a Brigadier is higher than a colonel?  )  Would it be okay for them to call each other by their first names (even nicknames) if they're off duty or is that a definite no-no?

Not sure but they usually drive to the village when they go.

Marie, in Family of strangers Slugger and Ron are in the Landrover.
Slugger sais up to the village girl, be about twenty minutes.
