...and that we can see how they are changing/faring over time.

Now that the issue of the horizontal tree has been raised I'd like to ask Jane if the actual horizontal tree that Gillian/her stunt double jumped over while riding "Shadow" was a tree or a prop.

Jane...?

Many thanks

Hi Pete

I am not sure of the answer but if you watch the episode you will see Christian riding his bike at the same location and there is an old dead part of a tree, it looks as though it has been moved round a bit to make a nice jump. It will be interesting to get
other peoples opinions

Yes thanks for taking the time to photograph and load all those locations Motormouse. >107<

Here's another location that I found while looking up railway stations.....

The interesting picture is second from bottom (just scroll past allthe timetables and tickets). >104<

Here are my photos when Mr Loopy and I visited the Wetherby Station site used in Know All's Nag  - you can see the bridge and there is now a footpath underneath.  The site is a large car park.

I have fond memories (some even preserved on Super 8 cine film!) of walking along the disused railway line through Thorner, a couple of miles south of Wetherby station, in the late 60s when I was about 5. I don't think we ever made it as far as Wetherby station, though. How I wish I had a time machine so I could go back as I am at present to the places I was fond of as a child...

"Oh Mortimer" ,if only we could go back in time.  Its for sure certain parts of my life that I,d revisit time after time, would be worn out like an old video tape. Going back to relive special memories. To see and touch family and other loved ones no longer with us. Like Steves Gran said "The more memories you have, the more treasures you have to keep". How true.  >316< >76<
