Hello everyone, my name is Carol, cannot begin to tell you how much Follyfoot (also BlackBeauty) played a big part in my life. Horse mad was not the word- I was obsessed, never had my own horse but always managed to find one or two to look after.
I have goosebumps when I watch the DVDs. Of course Steve was my heartthrob, used to daydream that I was Dora looking after all those ponies and horses...Happy days!!

Hi Carol and welcome to the forum. My sister's grand-daughter has always wanted her own horse too, but there's no way they can afford it so once a fortnight she does an 8 hour stint

working in a stables in exchange for a free riding lesson (as Mum and Dad can only afford to pay for her to have lessons every other week). I personally think the owners are taking advantage as, at 13, she's too young to do paid work, but I guess if you love horses... I guess Dora would have done exactly the same!
