Hi
I was/am a Follyfoot Tragic! My Sundays were spent at Pony Club (cadging rides where I could because I could never afford a horse) then home to watch Follyfoot and then for a few lovely weeks A Taste of Blue Ribbons.
I cut all the episode synopsis' out of the TV magazine and stuck them in a book and added some of my own.
About 12 years ago I helped a guy called Dave with a very early site about Follyfoot and sent him the information I had.
I harrassed my family to buy me all the books and the annuals and I loved them.
Of course, like most other young girls I was in love with Steve!
For years I tried to get the episodes and even tried to convince Yorkshire Television I wanted to buy them for educational purposes (and I was an Educator at the time). I paid a fortune for that first Video and made some friends along the way on Ebay with other Follyfoot fans.
I cry when I watch those episodes still.....
I realised that we didn't see all of those episodes in South Australia so there were some that were new to me. I recall being absolutely distraught when the last episode was broadcast here. I don't think any other television program quite touched me in the same way and it's probably one of the reasons why I still 'rescue' animals and why I kept my horses and actively fought against them being put down because they were old as the co owners wanted to do.
