I feel sure that all members would love to see Follyfoot repeated on ITV and to do this I need your help,

I think there is scope for high quality drama from the archives (and probably cost effective because they have already paid for it) which Follyfoot definitely is. A weekday repeat instead of Midsommer Murders will be a welcome change.

I will email them when I have thought of a suitable reply!

I'll certainly send an email, no problem at all. Might it be an idea to have some agreed effective framework for the wording, or should we all just do our own thing?

By that I mean are there any key points that might be looked for  that could be overlooked by those of us not used to dealing with media / TV ?

I hope you and the book are doing well, my signed copy is definitely a Follytreasure.

Might seem a bit weird if I emailed them from Finland, but i could actually try to figure out is there any chance of rerunning the series in Finland again. I know there are people in the internet wishing a rerun here too, let's see what happens. The local TV might not have the commercial rights to show it again.

I wrote to ITV3 to ask if they would repeat Follyfoot but they said they had no plans to do so.  I think Hollinhare wrote too and had the same response.

A good idea to get everybody together on this - I'll certainly send a message.

Not sure what help an email would be from the US.  So I'll just wish everyone luck in getting Follyfoot back on TV.  I'll be praying o the telly gods for you all.

@MJ...  Don't know about Michigan public television but Georgia PBS purchases MANY British productions.  Perhaps we should put in our two cents worth anyway—even knowing that a rebroadcast over there wouldn't do us any good over here—and suggest their marketing department pitch "Follyfoot" to American public television buyers. And... contact our respective PBS entities to suggest that this would be a worthy addition to their imported entertainment.
