Hello everyone >11<, it’s been a while... ::) just wondering if anyone is watching the classic Emmerdale repeats on ITV3 at the mo? The Follyfoot barns were on again - being used to hold someone hostage as usual! This morning Kim Tate was visiting Lord someone or other who she’s doing dodgy deals with at his country pile which was Stockeld Park, I think the repeats are from 1997ish.

Hi Hollinhare - haven't heard from you for a while!    :)

Wish I'd known earlier - it would have been nice to see Stockeld Park!   >41<

Hello  >11<, hope all’s well with you, it’s a bit quiet round here these days isn’t it? You’re not too late Lord Charles, Stockeld was on yesterday’s episodes, today’s episodes (ITV3 1.45 - 2.50 & repeated at 7am the following morning) say Ned goes to Oakwell Hall (Stockeld) & sets fire to the stables!

Hi Hollinhare,
Nice to hear from you. I saw a current episode of Emmerdale where Cain Dingle was holding someone in a barn and I had to wonder!  ;D ;D  Not sure there’s anything left at Hollin Hall they could use.

Hi Hollinhare,
How lovely to hear from you! The forum is very quiet these days. People pop in from time to time, some more than others, and some new people make the discovery of this treasure trove.  Hope the family are all well.

Did anyone see the first ever episodes of Emmerdale from 1972 that were shown on ITV3 last night? It’s the first time I’ve seen the really early stuff & it was very reminiscent of Follyfoot, even opening with a character riding a horse & of course the good old Yorkshire TV ident. If you’ve got a spare half hour this is the first episode…

The sights and the sounds take you back to the Follyfoot era. I am an Emmerdale fan and watched it from the very beginning. Things have changed so much. There's not much semblance of the past. Wonder if Follyfoot would have done the same had it gone on for so long. Still it's nice to remember old times.  >95<
